PRIVACY POLICY OF THE ONLINE STORE WWW.CUSTOMVENTDESIGN.COM

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The administrator of personal data collected via the online store www.customventdesign.com is the company Dekorius Małgorzata Lisiecka, Dobra 57, 05-075 Warsaw, NIP: 1250846253, email address: office@customventdesign.com, hereinafter referred to as the "Administrator," who is also the Service Provider.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF DATA COLLECTION

Personal data will be processed to fulfill purchases in our online store and for direct marketing of our own products and services, which constitutes a legitimate business interest. Data will be processed based on Article 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR).

With separate consent, based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, data may also be processed to send commercial information via electronic means or to conduct telephone calls for direct marketing purposes – in accordance with Article 10(2) of the Act of July 18, 2002, on the provision of electronic services or Article 172(1) of the Act of July 16, 2004 – Telecommunications Law, including those resulting from profiling, if the user has given appropriate consent.

If order delivery is necessary, personal data may be shared with postal operators or carriers solely for delivery purposes. Personal data processed for purchase-related purposes will be retained for the period necessary to complete purchases and orders. Data subject to archiving will be stored for the period required by law for claims limitation, i.e., 10 years. Personal data processed for marketing purposes based on consent will be processed until consent is withdrawn.

If the processing of personal data violates GDPR regulations, the data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection (from May 25, 2018 – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

Providing personal data is voluntary; however, providing specific data is required to place an order. Failure to provide the necessary data will result in the inability to place an order in the store.

Personal data may also be processed automatically in the form of profiling, provided that the user consents under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Profiling will assign a profile to the individual to make decisions regarding them or analyze and predict their preferences, behaviors, and attitudes.

The Administrator takes special care to protect the interests of individuals whose data is processed and ensures that the collected data is:

  • processed lawfully,

  • collected for specified, lawful purposes and not further processed in a manner inconsistent with these purposes,

  • substantively correct and adequate for the purposes for which they are processed,

  • stored in a form that allows identification of data subjects for no longer than necessary to achieve the processing purpose.

CUSTOMER RIGHTS

You have the right to request information about the content of the data stored about you, as well as the right to request changes, blocking, or deletion of data, and the right to correct errors, supplement, or update your data. COOKIES

The Service Provider's store uses "cookies." If the User does not change browser settings, they consent to their use.

The installation of "cookies" is necessary for the proper provision of services in the store. "Cookies" contain information necessary for the correct functioning of the store, particularly those requiring authorization.

The store uses three types of "cookies": session cookies, permanent cookies, and analytical cookies.

  • "Session" cookies are temporary files stored on the User's device until logging out (leaving the store).

  • "Permanent" cookies are stored on the User's device for the period specified in the "cookies" parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

  • "Analytical" cookies help us better understand how the User interacts with the store's content, improving its layout and organization. "Analytical" cookies collect information about how the User uses the store, the type of site from which they were redirected, the number of visits, and the duration of their stay. These data do not record specific personal information but are used to compile statistics on the store's usage.

The User has the right to decide on the access of "cookies" to their computer by selecting them in their browser settings. Detailed information on handling "cookies" is available in browser settings.

TECHNICAL MEASURES AND USER RESPONSIBILITIES

The online store makes every possible effort to secure your data and protect it from third-party actions. We implement all necessary security measures for servers, connections, and the Website to protect your data, including:

  • Antivirus programs,

  • Periodic password changes,

  • WPA2 or higher wireless encryption standards,

  • Local network protection via Firewall,

  • Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS),

  • Restricting network access to identified MAC addresses only.

All connections related to electronic payments, if such an option is selected, will be carried out via a secure encrypted connection.

However, our actions may not be sufficient if you do not follow security principles. In particular, you must keep your login and password confidential and not share them with third parties. Please note that the online store will never ask you to provide them except when logging into the Website. To prevent unauthorized use of your account, please log out after using the Website.

FINAL PROVISIONS

The Administrator applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of processed personal data appropriate to threats and the categories of data covered by protection. In particular, the Administrator secures data against unauthorized access, collection by unauthorized persons, processing in violation of applicable regulations, and modification, loss, damage, or destruction.

The Service Provider provides appropriate technical measures to prevent unauthorized acquisition and modification of personal data transmitted electronically.

For matters not regulated in this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the Terms and Conditions of the www.kratkanawymiar.pl store, the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of individuals concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR), and other applicable provisions of Polish law shall apply.

The provisions of this Privacy Policy come into force on June 15, 2019.
